Playing Harmonics on your Guitar

Harmonics add a distinct, really cool sound to a guitar riff or solo - listen to songs by Pink Floyd, U2, Nirvana - all of the top rock bands use harmonics to enhance the guitar sound within their songs.

Chris Elmore ( GuitarTips) has designed a lesson, specially written for PJ's Guitar Chords and Lyrics, to show you how they work, and how you can easily add them into your own repertoir of guitar skills.

Check out the article at: http://www.guitarsongs.info/harmonics.htm

You'll soon be adding that professional sound to your own songs, or getting your cover songs to sound like the real thing.

Enjoy your music,

Guitar Tip - Fingerpicking

For the early learning guitarist, fingerpicking can be the most frustrating technique of all to learn, but it is also the most rewarding.

Practice, practice and more practice is the only way to make the transition from a tangled mess of fingers and strings, to that 'nirvana' when the left hand actually does know what the right-hand is doing, while the brain concentrates on maintaining the rhythm.

My good friend and partner, Chris Elmore from GuitarTips helps to get you started in this great Guitar Fingerpicking article, which as well as explaining the basics, also teaches you to pick your way thru Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters". This article was written specially for www.guitarsongs.info, and my Blog readers:
